As spring approaches, Advanced Placement students are entering a season of intense studying and preparation for upcoming exams.
Students share similar feelings of stress and anticipation as exam dates approach, often while balancing extracurriculars and multiple AP classes.
The AP Seminar exam is scheduled to take place May 11.
Isabel Rodriguez, a sophomore in AP Seminar, said she is navigating the pressure of the course, which focuses on research, collaboration, and communication.
“I am sort of worried about AP exam season due to it being a lot of things I need to remember, and I’ll definitely have to do my best in order to get a good score,” Rodriguez said. “I have high hopes that I’m going to do well, and I am prepared.”
Sophomore Kianna Callejas, who is enrolled in four AP classes, also expressed a mix of nerves and readiness.
“Well I am honestly somewhat nervous,” Callejas said. “I feel like I could have put more effort into preparing myself, although I know I am not completely lost, I am excited to get it over with.”
As testing season approaches, all AP students are encouraged to stay focused and prepare as much as possible.
